A passion for learning.

I am Andreas Meyer, a business informatics professional with a Swiss federal diploma, consultant, coach, lecturer and examiner. I bring over 30 years of experience in IT, from project management and business analysis to leading IT departments and supporting agile change.

Through Mey-it.ch, I combine leadership experience, organisational development and teaching. I help you align business goals, technical possibilities and the needs of the people involved. This focus on goals, processes and quality also shapes my AI coaching for SMEs.

My teaching diploma from Pädagogische Hochschule Zürich for part-time teaching at Swiss colleges of higher education provides the pedagogical foundation for my teaching and learning support.

I have led IT departments with responsibility for people, delivery and finances, as well as project portfolios, budgets and suppliers. This experience helps me plan change realistically and prepare decisions.

Business analysis & organisational development

My experience as an Agile Coach, Scrum Master, Product Owner and head of Requirements Engineering connects requirements, processes and collaboration. I help clarify goals and shape changes that fit the organisation.

IT service management & quality

I have been responsible for IT services, application operations and supplier relationships. As a Quality Engineer, I complement this operational experience with a focus on verifiable quality and reliable processes.

Teaching & learning support

As a lecturer in higher vocational education and an author of teaching materials, I teach subjects including business informatics, project management, business engineering and IT service management. I also support learners and students through tutoring and diploma thesis guidance.

Does agility at scale always require SAFe?

My approach starts with your goals and the way you already work together. SAFe may be a suitable framework. Focused adjustments to coordination, decision-making and cross-team planning may also make sense. Together, we determine the scope that fits your organisation.

Do we need to completely change our processes for AI?

AI can often be introduced into existing processes in a focused way. We choose a manageable task with clear potential value, assess the risks and test it with your team. After evaluating the results, we decide together whether and how to expand its use.

Who are learning coaching and tutoring for?

For learners, students and professionals seeking support in business informatics and related subjects. We adapt the content, learning goals and approach to your course and prior knowledge.

How do you support a diploma thesis?

I help you narrow down your topic, formulate a research question, plan and structure your thesis, and refine your argumentation through feedback. Support can also include preparation for the presentation and oral examination.

Can teaching be tailored to our group?

Yes. Content, case studies and exercises can be adapted to your topics and participants’ prior knowledge. We agree on the scope with you as an education provider or organisation.
